On 10th December 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed. It laid out the basic rights that anyone in the world is entitled to as well as the duty each person has in regards to others in order to bring peace and tolerance amongst people.

The 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is an opportunity to promote the importance of the universality of human rights and justice throughout our societies.

Suara Rakyat Malaysia (SUARAM) and Youth Section of KL & Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall would like to seek this opportunity to organise concert to educate the public on current human rights issues and to inspire and motivate the youth of Malaysia to participate in human rights movements.
